Fabletics | February 2019

I have recently been accepted into the Fabletics affiliate program! YAY! My first outfit came in a couple of weeks ago and I have been dying to share it with you all. These days, every girl loves a good pair of workout leggings, even if you’re not working out!  I have so many pairs of black leggings that I decided to step outside my box and pick something different. I chose dark olive leggings and a cute side knot sleeveless top.

The 411 on My Look

The leggings are seamless and very loose and comfortable around the waist. They have a cute ribbed/moto look to them that I love. For some unknown reason, I ordered a medium in the leggings when I should have ordered a small. I don’t like feeling cut off at the waist, so I guess that is why I ordered a medium? Although, they do not cut me off in the medium, they are a bit big. I have been tugging at them a little here and there. Had I chose the small, I think they would still be very comfortable in the waist. Note to anyone interested: stick to your true size!

I love the fabric and cut of this tie top. The underarms were a bit big on me, as you can see my bra on the side. Workout tops tend to do that sometimes though. I do not mind it showing, but some of you might mind. My personal preference of workout tops are loose-fitting, I do not like skin-tight workout tops. I ordered this one because of the loose look it has and it definitely lived up to my expectation.

Spontaneous Trip | Nashville, TN

A couple of months ago, a friend of mine signed me up for last-minute ticket deals to the Nashville Predators. They send out a text with special price tickets the day before a game. Most texts were for weekday games. I told Evan that next time they text me and it’s a weekend game I’m going to get the tickets! I told him if I knew we didn’t have any plans I would go ahead and get them before they sold out. I honestly don’t think he believed I would do it. Last Friday, I got the text and jumped on it. Once I bought the tickets, I texted Evan and said “Guess who’s going to the Preds game?” He responded with, “Are you serious?” followed by a phone call.

We drove to Nashville a little after lunch on Saturday. Our hotel was in The Gulch area of downtown Nashville which is a neighborhood with lots of great restaurants and shopping! We did not have enough time to shop unfortunately, but we did make it to Adele’s for appetizers and drinks before the game.

After the game we stopped in at one of the three-story bars on Broadway, then made our way back to the Gulch area. We wanted to try Whiskey Kitchen before the game, but it was too long of a wait. So we decided to try again because we were still hungry! We got right in and ordered a pizza to split before heading back to our room. It was a neat atmosphere and the pizza was yummy!

Sunday morning, we had reservations at The Southern, a restaurant recommended by a good friend of ours. It was busy as it could be at 10AM when it opened! We knew right away it would be a good place to eat! Evan ordered the steak and biscuit Benedict which was grilled tenderloin on an open face biscuit with poached eggs and hollandaise sauce. I ordered the southern fried egg sandwich that came with bacon, cheese, and a red pepper aioli sauce on Texas toast with French fries! We love all things brunch: the mimosas, the coffee and of course the delicious food!

Cheers to our spontaneity!
